Balanced Technology in Manufacturing
Our high quality three-layer engineered parquet floorings are backed by imported equipment & technology. The quality is achieved by first cutting in the middle of a five layer wood sandwich with the highest precision as surface layer, and then resulting in two 3 ply elements after such working procedure as gluing, blank organizing and HF pressing. The wood sandwich layers are placed diagonally to each other, in a cross ply manner, in order to ensure dimensional stability, as all woods expand and contract, according to different temperature and humidity conditions. Furthermore, all the layers are redried to guarantee the shape retention of our floor.
During the production process, the raw wood staves are dried down after staying for 3 weeks in drying chambers at a constant temperature of 65 degrees Celsius to achieve a moisture content of 6-7%. They are then stored for a further 4 week in a conditioning room in order to stabilise. The selecting of the different quality wood grades is done manually, by well trained stuff supported by quality control eyes that makes it better than any high-tech machinery.
Structure of Engineering Parquet Flooring
Surface Layer
The top hard wood layer measuring more than 3.5mm is then protected by 6 coatings of UV cured, formaldehyde free, acrylic varnish to guarantee the gloss and durability of the wear layer.
Core Layer
Core layer is of high quality softwood(pine or poplar) with approximately 9mm thickness. The planks fit tightly together, because of the precision milling of tongue and groves in the core layer. The tongue and groove also show different depths - the tongue is not milled square, but conical and is slightly shorter than the groove, to ensure that enough space is left for excess adhesive.
Veneer
Whole plank of softwood veneer(pine or poplar), 2mm in thickness, can effectively isolate humidity, balance installation strain and function as insect proof.
